2009 was an amazing year for me as I was able to explore my long held dream of photography. Before I was quite ready to handle it I had more clients than I could count! How wonderful to finally explore my dream.
I counted and realized I shot over 14 weddings and too many sessions to count. I have grown as a photographer and person and am grateful for the experience.
As amazing as the experience has been it has been effecting the amount of time I have to spend with my family, especially my son. I can either have photography or I can have a life.
So with a happy heart I have closed Elmwood Court Photography and am spending time with my family.
Thank you to all my clients for an amazing year and for letting me be a part of your special moments.
Although I may still be posting sessions they are only for my family and friends and I thank you for your interest but I am no longer accepting clients with no exceptions.
Thank you again,
Amy

Urban Love

You just about can't get a better place than old town Redlands for an urban shoot or a better couple than Rebbecca and Gin. They were warned about what an urban shoot is like so they came prepared to sit on the ground and explore all the nooks and crannies with me. The were game to try all my crazy ideas. Thanks for such a fun shoot you two!

Littlest Heros Project

I'm proud to say that I have been accepted as a photographer for the Littlest Heros Project.

The Littlest Heroes Project is a non-profit based organization founded in January 2008, made up of professional photographers nationwide that provide free photo sessions to our nations Littlest Heroes. This is our way of giving back and taking a stand for these children who sometimes feel forgotten because of their illnesses. We are here to let them know that they are heroes to many, and to share their inspirational stories and photos with the world.

Beach engagement

I met with Christina and Mike at what has to be one of the most beautiful beach locations Crystal Cove in Laguna beach. Despite a rough start, and me getting wet to my knees, I enjoyed the beautiful weather and getting to know these two.

I hope you enjoyed your dinner you two and can't wait for your wedding in May.

Miles of style..

I met the amazing Aracely and her fiancee Hector at the historic Biltmore hotel in downtown Los Angles (bonus for me as I have always wanted to see the Biltmore). They couldn't have been more fun or more glamours and the Biltmore was to die for.
As if that wasn't already a photographer's dream location when then made a mad dash over to Olvera street for another amazing site.
After a quick outfit change into traditional Mexican outfits (could they be any more fabulous?) we ran around exploring the streets and having more fun than I thought I could have on a shoot.

Urban family

Just beating out the bad weather I met with the R family in old town Redlands for a fun urban family shoot. The kids were great despite the cold weather and Drew forgave me even though I kept breaking my promise to him "just one more I promise Drew..just one more"

Baby makes three

I met sweet Blaire and her husband Trevor at Fairmount park in Riverside to capture some shots of the baby belly. Sunny California? Who says? It was freezing but Blaire and Trevor were troopers and made it through the cold (and a little bit of rain) with me.

Baby Lucas is due in just 14 days (my bet is for him to come early) and I can't wait to get my lens on him. Thanks for braving the cold with me guys. See you in a few weeks.

Oh my...

World meet beautiful baby Cheyanne born November 30th 2008.

I did maternity pictures for her parents Ashley and Ryan just a few weeks ago and here she is. Could she be any cuter?

I had a hard time picking just a few to post. I finally just had to stop myself at 8.

Welcome to the world beautiful. It was wonderful to meet you.

This one makes me think..."lady why you all up in my grill?"

The T family

Man have I have been on a roll lately with great families. I met with another fantastic family at Mt. Sac college campus (my sister's nursing school alma mater). The T family really know their photography poses and were spot on (and so easy to work with). Lori happens to be a great make-up artist and I am looking for to working with her in the future.

Urban engagement + LuLu

I met with Shannon, Jessie, and lovely LuLu at the Mitten building in Redlands where they will be getting married in 2010. We ran around having fun finding nooks and crannies to explore. Their daughter is a natural and my camera and I just couldn't get enough of her.
