Shannon and Jessie celebrated the beginning of their lives together with their family and friends at a rocking reception this Saturday. I was lucky enough to get to photography the evening for them and I have to say I just love shooting a wedding celebration after having done the engagement session. Feels like I'm part of the story.
Congratulations Shannon and Jessie...I can't wait till the next chapter!
(edited to add I do know how to spell the beginning but the baby was screaming..and my husband wanted to get to bed..and ...anyway I uploaded the corrected slideshow twice and the old one is still showing up so dang it just ignore it. Please!)
2009 was an amazing year for me as I was able to explore my long held dream of photography. Before I was quite ready to handle it I had more clients than I could count! How wonderful to finally explore my dream.
I counted and realized I shot over 14 weddings and too many sessions to count. I have grown as a photographer and person and am grateful for the experience.
As amazing as the experience has been it has been effecting the amount of time I have to spend with my family, especially my son. I can either have photography or I can have a life.
So with a happy heart I have closed Elmwood Court Photography and am spending time with my family.
Thank you to all my clients for an amazing year and for letting me be a part of your special moments.
Although I may still be posting sessions they are only for my family and friends and I thank you for your interest but I am no longer accepting clients with no exceptions.
Thank you again,
Amy

Look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
I'm working on Shannon and Jessie's sneak peek and hope to have it up tonight. In the mean time I wanted to share this shot.
I can't take credit for the idea as I got it from somewhere on the Internet (can't remember where), but it turned out sooo cool. Just like Shannon and Jessie's reception.
More to come...

Happy Easter!
Yeah, I know it's a day late but close enough.
Sorry about the watermark but I want to prevent anyone copying these photos and using them for who knows what.

My Easter Bunny
And his official Easter outfit.
Eight months already. Can you believe it? It's flying by for me.
Yep, he looks really cute but as I type this he's in his crib screaming because he's tired and wants me to hold him while he sleeps. I'm trying to break him of this habit so for now the screaming continues..... oh wait after 25 minuets I think he's finally giving up.
Wish us luck!

Family shoot
I met with the H family at the California Baptist University campus for what turned out to be a windy, cold, shoot. So much for a "Spring" shoot. I loved seeing how the 6 cousins interacted and enjoyed each other. Especially baby Luke.
The kids kept me on my toes but it was fun keeping up with them but I don't think the grass stains will ever come out. Totally worth it!
Enjoy the sneak peak.
